El término Steampunk se utiliza para definir un tipo de inventos ficticios inspirados en la ciencia ficción mediante tecnología que utiliza básicamente la energía de vapor utilizando elementos en su mayoría metálicos con acabados rústicos.
Existen libros ambientados en este género, incluso películas como Sherlock Holmes, Crónicas Mutantes, Hellboy, La Brújula Dorada y muchas otras mas.
Hay páginas o foros dedicados exclusivamente al Steampunk como steamworkshop, esteticasteampunk, en el cual te explican ampliamente cada uno de sus aspectos e incluso los usuarios exhiben sus proyectos. Muchas de las piezas las consiguen desarmando viejos relojes o aparatos electrónicos, pero para quienes no tienen de donde obtener las refacciones solo es cuestión de que se den una vuelta por bazares en línea como mercadolibre, eBay o similares y encontraran una amplia gama de donde escoger.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found
